Thank you! :)

This was really fun to watch!

WheelieYellow responds:

Glad you enjoyed watching :)

Not bad at all. The combo bar was a neat detail throughout.

The worst thing that can happen to any employee.

Despite it's crude appearance, it's really well put, and the sniper scope scene was alright!

Sayasaka responds:

thanks for your commentary . I will try to do better . And sorry if the video don't have sound...

This is a really cool idea!

A nice short loop of a cute rat, simply eating cheese from a hook. What else I can say? It's something!

IceCreamer89 responds:

Thanks!

Seems legit enough

In a different reality, Pinocchios nose grew that shattered the monitors screen that caused an electric fire that it lit him up. Also, really cool animation!

It's really good, and shows potential for future episodes, however the lip syncing looks awful, but it's just my only complaint, however since it's the first episode, I'm positive overtime it will be addressed and worked on, despite how tedious it may sound, it's just one of the attention to details that I personally like, and hey it's just me that thinks so. If I ever come across future episodes, I'll be sure to check them up, keep up the good work!

Topcatyo responds:

Thanks for checking the video out! I appreciate your thoughts on this.

As for the lip-sync...
The lip-sync is like that because this was animated live and then edited down. Essentially we're all in a Discord call and the characters are assets in OBS. Each person in the call is connected to a character "puppet", and the puppet changes between Idle and Active states if it recognizes that specific person is talking. The "Active" state only holds one animation, so it's just a generic lip-flapping animation.

So this video essentially animated itself as we were improvising the story and drawing the backgrounds (which you can see happening as the video continues). We recorded this and the upcoming 2 episodes in a single 3-hour session, and the most time-consuming part (aside from creating the actual puppets) was editing the video down to something much more watchable. We actually have the entire unedited session up on Youtube.

So, unfortunately, the lip-syncing isn't really going to improve in any real way aside from perhaps one of us getting a better recording setup so that the microphone picks up less background noise. Aside from that, the bad lip-syncing is as of right now an unavoidable shortcoming of the technique we used to get this whole project together in the first place.

Spreading wholesome energy!
